JAIPUR: Thirty-three-year-old Shiva Keshavan, who once thought of quitting the sport that he has grown up pursuing, is obviously on cloud nine having bagged a well-deserved gold medal+ at the Asian Luge Championship art Nagano in Japan on Friday. The reason for him thinking about leaving luge is because of lack of financial support from the Sports Ministry.
The lack of financial backing once left a massive cloud of doubt over his 2018 Winter Olympic participation. .
